Drinking bowl for birds

On a hot summer day, offerign water to birds so that they could freshen up and, on occasion learn the time, is a very rare business, if not to tell exclusively rare. I aspired to create an appearance which would correspond to the exotic designation the device.
This sundial in the form of a bowl containing about 4 l of water is made of a rare kind of limestone composed of two sediments of different hardness. Western side of the bowl is penetrated through by an iron-nickel meteorite that has fallen on our planet as early as 130 million years ago. The element structure of the meteorite is shown on the spectrogram*. The gnomon is cast of bronze and patinated.
In Russian climate, it is improbable that birds may use this device in winter. Therefore, the dial is marked only in terms of day saving time.
Diameter of the device is 50 cm
Weight is about 15 kg.
The plinth under the device is a bonus. At your desire you can take it free.

The duration of solar day is changeable within a year. Thus the difference between clock and sundial indications may be as high as 15 min depending on the season. You may easy convert solar time into mean time and vice versa using the equation of time table or graph. Usually I make it of brass, copper or stone.
