Now, eight sundials are installed in the Park.

1. Equatorial sundial established in 2004. It is bought in England. Some of its parts are made in Russia. The sundial is cast of copper. Description. The device consists of equatorial and meridian semicircles. On the equatorial circle there is a dial. The meridian circle supports the gnomon. Diameter is 40 cm.

2. The Greek-Roman sundial on a pedestal. Installed on August, 4th, 2008. Description. The sundial and pedestal are made of natural stone. Topologically, the device is a geometrical figure formed by section of a cone and a prism. There are vertical sundials on the west and east sides of the device. On the north side of the device a four-beam star and an inscription "Apollonios" in Greek are cut out. On the pedestal friezes, images of plants of midland Russia are cut out: an ivy, wild strawberry, dandelion, and clover. Calculated and manufactured by A.Boldyrev.

3. Horizontal sundial. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Calculated and manufactured by A. Boldyrev. Description. The device has 28 cm in diameter. It is made of brass by engraving technique and installed on a support made of natural stone. Besides time, the sundial measures the azimuth of the sun and its altitude above the horizon.

4. Vertical sundial on the east wall. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Description. The device is made of smalt in mosaics technique. The rod gnomon indicates the days of equinoxes and solstices and also points at seven anniversary lines. In the left top part of the device there is an image of an angel. 5. Vertical sundial on the south wall. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Description. The device is made of smalt in mosaics technique. The rod gnomon the days of equinoxes and solstices. In the uppermost part of the sundial above the sun image there is a motto "All comes in due time for those who is able to wait". Below, flying swallos and an inkwell with an ancient feather are represented on a celestial-blue background. In the bottom part of the dial a branch of white acacia, a cleanliness symbol, and a broken prison key are drawn. Layout and gnomon - A.Boldyrev. Mosaic - I.Volkova, E.Volkov.

6. Vertical sundial on the west wall. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Description. The device is made of smalt in mosaics technique. Besides time, the rod gnomon measures indicates the days of equinoxes and solstices. The the uppermost part of the sundial a white pigeon, symbol of the Holy Spirit, is drawn on the clouds background. The dial background represents transition of night into day and is decorated by images of the sun, moon and stars. In the bottom part of the dial a logo of the Church - science centre "the Orthodox encyclopedia" is drawn. Layout and gnomon - A.Boldyrev. Mosaic - I.Volkova, E.Volkov.

7. A vertical sundial on the northern wall. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Description. The device is made of smalt in mosaics technique. The gnomon made of brass sheet measures local and standard time. On a sky blue background three pairs of swallows are drawn. In the left part of the dial the bell tower of the monastery of St. Seraphim Sarovsky is drawn. In the bottom part of the dial an image of a convolvulus is drawn. Layout and gnomon - A.Boldyrev.
