A mosaic sundial on northern wall
A vertical sundial on the northern wall. The sundial is installed on June, 2009. Description. The device is made of smalt in mosaics technique. The gnomon made of brass sheet measures local and standard time. On a sky blue background three pairs of swallows are drawn. In the left part of the dial the bell tower of the monastery of St. Seraphim Sarovsky is drawn. In the bottom part of the dial an image of a convolvulus is drawn. Layout and gnomon - A.Boldyrev.
